Happy Friday! It's Stamp Nite tonight over here, so today will be busy getting all the last minute things ready. I wanted to post 3 of the warm up samples I've done this week. Looking down a few posts I talked about a wonderful book called Finding Your Visual Voice and I highlighted an exercise one of the artists does daily. I decided to incorporate a similiar exercise each day - a warm up card that takes no more than 15 minutes to create. 3 x 3 cards are perfect for this! These cards don't need to be overdone or too simple, I merely recreate on a smaller scale ideas and sketches of my full sized cards. Easy Peasy, and keeps the gears rolling even on those days where hecticness is the theme. Near the end of April I am attending a SCS gathering - all the daily warm up cards I've done to that point are going to be packaged up in a clear box (recycling a PTI box) with a patterned paper wrap; this will be my contribution to a special raffle that the organizers are putting together.
