Okay, let's try this again. I hit publish on a post I wrote this morning, and poof, it disappeared. Seems there was some sort of Google trouble. So I ran a few errands with Morgan and came back to try again.
Another good friend of mine just became a grandma to a sweet little baby girl. Using this darling Carter dress and matching panties and the Featured Stamper Challenge as a jumping point, I made her card this morning. For those of you unaware of this challenge, Beth selects an artist every Sunday, and those who participate select a card from their gallery and CASE it, changing at least 2 things and then giving credit for inspiration to the original artist.
I want to give big props to those of you who can CASE, it is so hard for me. I make cards I pull out of my head so much faster than a CASEd card. I struggle staying on task, constantly check the original, and end up generally with something that barely resembles the inspiration card.
CASE (pun intended *wink) in point is this card. I began by selecting a card from milesmum's gallery over at SCS. Awesome choice, Beth! Her gallery is beautiful! Here is the card I selected, titled More Butterfly Thanks, as you can see there are only a few commonalities;
the scallop circle, the butterfly, and a large swath of patterned paper. The colors, layout, and accessories differ. Never the less, the FS played a roll in the creation of this card.
Soon it will be heading miles and miles away along with the little dress!
I hope you're having a beautiful Sunday!

This card is so wonderful! I was wondering if you could give us a tutorial on how you tie your ribbon. The bows you tie always look so perfect!
