All bases are covered for this Father's Day card! This will be one of our projects Friday for Stamp Nite. This layout was inspired by Michelle Wooderson, all I did was substitute papers, colors, and images. I needed a push this morning to get this card designed and papers cut today, and her layout was just the ticket! Thanks Mish!
Card base is Sahara Sand with Flannel stamped tone on tone with Sahara Sand. Argyle print patterned paper is from SU! Sentimental Journey Designer Series Paper. Hawaiian shirt from Do the Hula is stamped in Buckeroo Blue on Whisper White cardstock, spattered with Sahara Sand marker using the Color Spritzer, sentiment is stamped in True Thyme. Corners of white layer are punched with SU! ticket corner punch (love that little punch!), and then mounted onto a True Thyme layer. Photo corner, inspired again by Michelle, is made by punching a square from Buckeroo Blue and cutting diagonally in half using scallop scissors, pierced with the Mat Pak, tied with a striped grosgrain knot, and attached to the white layered panel with Glue Dots. A couple of blue mini brads (Rich Regal assortment) in the lower left to balance the photo corner, a row of piercing at the bottom of the card, and this card is ready for a special dad!
All Supplies are SU! except the scallop scissors.

Wow, this is an awesome Father's Day card Val! Is that coming up already!?? And you cased me? Shoot, I did good cuz this totally looks *Val* to me. I must have cased you to begin with! Anywho, it's a great card and I'm case-ing it back! Got all that!
This card is so cool and would be totally perfect for a surfdude dad like my hubby! I really like the scalloped photo corner which adds a great final touch here.
Love this! I have some bright argyle paper that I planned to use for Father's Day cards; Maybe now, I'll have to pari it up with this shirt! Thanks for the inspiration, (as always!).
