I played in a SCS Sketch Challenge today. I haven't done a challenge for a long time, I think since it was Dirty Dare Week. Sometimes the layouts chosen speak to me, other times not so much; today's spoke to me so I decided to play along.
A funny little story about this card, the popped up flower will be replaced before this card makes it into an envelope to go anywhere. As I was trimming the ribbons with my very big and very sharp Gingher scissors I nipped my pinky. I thought that was all I nipped. After I took the picture, resized it, add the watermark, and uploaded it to SCS, I saw a little ouch. I nipped that poor flower, too. I was so focused on getting a band aid on so I could finish the card and keep it clean that I didn't notice the nip. So....I'll be stamping another flower and replacing very soon!
The stamping is so simple here, the layout straightforward, and the embellishments easy to see, so I will leave my commentary brief and stop here!
