Here's my project this afternoon, a "JOY" chipboard banner for my girlfriend, Mechelle. She and her family celebrate Hanukkah and I thought the Wintergreen Designer Series Paper was perfect for this project. We always try and make each other's holiday gifts; I've received gorgeous beaded snowflake ornaments for a couple of years and hope that is her plan again this year. I'd love to have a collection of these on our tree, each one a memory of my friendship with her.Anyway, I cut plain ole chipboard to 4" by 6" and notched the ends. Then I covered both sides with various Wintergreen papers before adding Bazzill letters, buttons, rhinestone brads, ribbons, and Jumbo eyelets.
Now as I look at the picture, I think it needs something above the "o" to balance that section out, so I need to figure out what to put there or move the "o" up a tad.
I hope she likes it!

It's beautiful Val -
How about adding a small punched snowflake - embossed with versamark and glitter or stickles
I'm so in love with this paper, I wish I had ordered more. I personally would move the O up a little since you already have embelishments underneath it. That way it doesn't look too fussy.
I am sure your friend will love this! It is beautiful!
so cute!!!
This just has cuteness written all over it! I just had to create one for my sister ... but smaller...2 x 3! It came out soooooo cute! Used lots of your 'ideas' .. added a touch or two of my own. You are amazing and always inspire me!
