Today's card is another image from Bundle of Joy, the newest release by Anna Wight for Whipper Snapper Designs. Dixie, as I call her, named by Anna herself for me, is stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black, heat set, and colored in with Copic markers (E31,E25,R81,RV10). Her saddle is paper pieced from the same pattern as the coordinating flowered strip, the flowers are colored in with Souffle pens, and the dots and scallops highlighted with a white gel pen. It's no surprise the saddle is up on dimensionals! *grin* She is matted onto the same stock as the base. Rose mini brads and 3 ribbon flags are added before matting the completed panel onto a SU! Regal Rose layer.
For the card base, Prism Iced Yellow card stock is stamped in Adirondack Lemonade with a background stamp by All That Scraps called Plaid. The plaid pattern is the perfect pattern to go with the big polka dots and subtle flower print from a designer mat pad by K & Co, Brenda Walters Small Wonders Girl. This little pad is filled with wonderful double sided, textured, card sized prints, perfect for card making. I scalloped the bottom edge of the polka dot pattern with a scallop blade in my old and ancient Fiskars so it would tie into Dixie's scalloped saddle. The sentiment is stamped and punched out with SU!'s large oval punch and attached to the card.

I am a polka dot addict. I have polka dot paper, polka dot shirts, sweatshirts, I think Chris is HOPING I don't find polka dot pants! I WOULD wear them. I just love this cute little cow paired with the paper. Ms Ultra Talented, I LOVE checking your blog! Have a wonderful weekend!

Last order, I blamed on Leigh O'Brien and Anna herself, but this one, I'm pinning on YOU!!! : ) (I actually wrote that in the comments section of my order form. I got an email back from the owner that said, "That's why they design for us!" hee hee)
