I've a birthday dinner for a good girlfriend tonight and who wouldn't appreciate a gift card to Victoria's Secret?! They give you a nice bag and really high quality gift card holder as part of the purchase. I thought about altering the card holder, instead decided to make a funky skelly tag.
After cutting a rectangle 3" x 4" out of SU! Regal Rose card stock and covering it with Rusty Pickle Pirate Princess patterned paper, I notched the tops purposely asymmetrical ( just for fun, the wild side of me coming out!) and then inked the edges with Color Box Fluid ink Charcoal.
The Skull in Love (Love is Toxic set) and Scalloped Write Box (Me,. Myself & I set) images are by Unity Stamp Company, ( I see Angela's still running strong with weekly giveaways!) they have some funky and fresh images that I just love. After stamping the write box in Charcoal, I stamped the skull in Color Box Fluid Chalk ink Rouge, then I stamped the Happy Birthday by SU! in Brilliance Graphite Black ink, dtp'd the edges with charcoal and layered it on Regal Rose. After adding 2 silver eyelets I layered it again on Basic Gray card stock with dimensionals and adhered it to the tag. After setting a jumbo eyelet, I threaded this fun tag with a pink/silver ribbon to attach it to the gift bag.
On the back, where we will sign our names, I added another strip of the striped paper, inked all the edges, and stamped the Bracket Left (Me, Myself & I set) by Unity Stamps in Charcoal.
It's a rare night out without the kids tonight, I can't wait! Jay's been out fishing all day, I hope he can stay awake past 9pm. *grin*

I'm not much of a rocker or a skull person, but pink skulls, and especially ones as cute as this are on my radar. Love the asymmetrical tag top!
