Many Things~

There are many things I love about this craft we enjoy....one of my favorite things is being able to whip out a gift bag and matching tag or card in minutes with supplies that I keep on hand. I have an internal struggle when contemplating purchasing bags and cards. Ask Brett. We looked for a nano second yesterday at Target, and finally I just said let's go home I'll make something in the morning. So this gift bag is for a birthday party for a friend's cousin today. They are off to a fun playground for the afternoon. Fun for all the boys going and time for me to run a few errands and clean up the stamp mess from the last couple of days.

Anywhoooo, I keep white/brown handled sacks on hand to quickly embellish for gifts, rarely buying a gift bag unless I'm really crunched for time, you know, on my way to the event and need to get the gift and the packaging *grin*.

While this isn't anything mind boggling I wanted to share how quickly, less than 20 minutes from start to finish, a coordinated bag and tag can be made for a little boy who loves cars. The color scheme is one I often go to for boys, Brett loves orange, and blue, well it's orange's complementary color, and black to make it pop. I also keep these projects really simple as I'm pretty sure I know where they end up - in the Hefty bag of wrapping papers.

The car image is from Toy Box, an oldie but a goodie retired set from SU! The number 6 from Headline Numbers, another SU! set. The sentiments are from Birthday Centers, a wonderful sentiment set from Mona Lisa Moments for CHF.

Well, off for my walk quickly before Brett needs to get ready to go~

Have a great day!

Oh, I doubt that ends up in a Hefty bag! The mom will probably keep that cute tag! :)

I hope this stays out of the Hefty bag and at least gets re-used!!
Love the colors and the decorative strip at the bottom of the bag and the tag - love how you attached it.

I'm a huge fan of your blog! Thanks so much for sharing this and reminding me that the presentation doesn't have to be elaborate to be special! I LOVE this and needed that reminder!
