#1 Song on This Date in History~

I was blipping around on SCS tonight and found this link:

#1 Song

So I followed the link and found out the #1 song on my birth date was:

Big Bad John by Jimmy Dean (doesn't he make sausage?!) LOL

What's your song?

Don't Go Breaking My Heart by Elton John & Kiki Dee. LOL! It was also fun to look at the song for my kids' birth days! Thanks for sharing that link.

Big Bad John is the ringtone Mike uses for my BIL, so I hear it *often*. . .now I won't think of him, I'll think of YOU!

HUGS, my friend!

Well, I know this won't come as a surprise to you, Val -- mine is 'Sugar Sugar' by the Archies. Kinda makes sense, since I'm so sweet and all... LOL! :) Thanks for linking -- that was fun!

What a fun link! Mine was Volare...but then I'm old. I'm probably the only one who comments that even knows what the song sounds like!

Mine is "Big Girls Don't Cry" by The Four Seasons.

Jimmy Dean does have a brand of sausage, but he was also a country singer in the 50's & 60's I believe.

This is too fun!!! Mine is: "You've lost that Lovin' Feeling". Which is kinda ironic seeing how I am newly single!!!

"Stop! In the Name of Love" by the Supremes. You have a better song! :)

Mine is "Too Young" by Nat King Cole. That pretty tells you how old I am. These kids probably don't even know who he is! And yes, it's the same Jimmy Dean that makes the sausage!!

Thanks, Val. Mine was "Maggie May/ Reason to Believe" by Rod Stewart. Maybe that's why I've always enjoyed listening to Rod. Another mystery of life solved. ;-)
