
What's that you ask? Faux Embossing makes for a faux rocking boat! LOL Faux Embossing is the TLC today over at SCS. You can find the info here.
In a nutshell, you stamp one image in a darker ink and using your Stamp A Majig, or similar stamp placement tool, stamp the image again, slightly to the left, right, top or bottom, to create a shadow effect that gives the effect of embossing. I used Ballet Blue to stamp the bottom boat and Craft White for the top image, combined together with the kraft card stock, it comes off looking like Bashful Blue.
Finished card is 5" x 5" and will head over to a friend who's grandson is due any minute now!
