You Can Do It! ~

Wouldn't this be a fun and simple card to slip into your young student's snack or lunch as a special surprise on their first day of school?

I kept this card purposefully simple to show that these images can hold their own without being colored. Just bold card stock and black embossing and this card pops and can be done in the time it takes your sleepy child to rouse on that first day of school.

If your child loves Thomas then be sure to head over to Cornish Heritage Farms today, the official release day for Thomas the Tank Engine!

Card deets:
Stamps:
TT-103Q Thomas the Tank Engine - 3/4 view by Cornish Heritage Farms
No. 1 Blue Engine by Cornish Heritage Farms
You Can do it! from Train Expressions by Mona Lisa Moments for Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Versafine Onyx Black by Tsukineko
Paper:
Yellow by Prism
Blue, Red, and Black textured card stock by Dies Cuts with a View
Classic Crest Solar White by Neenah Paper
Tools:
Heat tool by Marvy
Design Ruler by Tim Holtz (to create holes for mini brads)
Accessories:
Black mini brads
Clear embossing powder
Dimensional foam

No. 1 was cut from sentiment that says "No.1 Blue Engine" and used as a tab accent. All black stamped images and sentiments are clear embossed over black ink.

Hi Val!

Love your *Thomas* cards, both versions! I think I'll need this set for future little boy bd's!

Love this card! It reminds me of when my boys were little. They all loved Thomas! Now they're big and there are no more Thomas trains in the house... :(

I love this card. Thank you soooo much for showing us the Thomas card and for the inspiration. My son has been a Thomas fan since he was 18 months old, so Thomas has a big place in our hearts...plus I have LOTS of train pics that need to be scrapped.

Off to shop now!!!
