Birthday Bash ~

In purple and blue. A specific color request by Morgan for her good friend and soccer mate, Katie. These cute cupcakes are just one image from Kim's newest set, Birthday Bash, releasing on Tuesday the 16th over at CHF.

Simple, basic layout, one that all of us have done at some point along our crafting path. It just seemed to be the one that worked well with these stacking (jumping?) cupcakes. I decided on the cupcake image (there are plenty others to choose from!) because Morgan and another friend baked 21 cupcakes to take to their game this afternoon. Two of the cupcakes were stamped on the main image panel, the other on a scrap which was cut out and attached to the card with dimensional foam.

Copic markers in the following colors were used to color the cupcakes:
Y11 and Y17 for the candle flame, BV02 and BV13 for the purple cupcake liners and candle, B12 and B14 for the blue liners and candles.

You can see the finished inside in this picture. My good friend, Cindy, uses snippets of the outside of the card on the inside to coordinate the entire card. Such a great idea! I borrow it all the time, thanks Cindy!

Yesterday's Scor-Pal class was fun, you can see a pic on the Paper Tales blog here:

Thanks Michele for the opportunity! I'm looking forward to our upcoming classes!

Have a super Sunday!

This is such a great idea. Love this card to pieces. The colours that you've used are perfect.
