Brownie Cookies ~
I've a good friend Mish who makes the most awesome recipe cards. They will be treasured keepsakes for her family in the years to come. Mine, well, generally a xerox, newspaper clipping or print out from the computer shoved into a box. I'm lucky if I can find what I am looking for when I need to. Thus the same meals over and over again I suppose :)!
Anywhoooo, another friend of mine asked me for the Brownie Cookie recipe I make, again, (easy peasy, clipped out of the newspaper and shoved in said box) she's lost the copy I made for her last year. So I decided to make a Mish Mash inspired recipe card for her. Can't misplace these, now can you?! So this was my after my coffee before taking the kids to school project this morning, I wanted to be finished with it early in order to take it with me when I took Brett to school as the recipient is a great friend who works there.
Kim Hughes Bake with Love set from CHF is perfect for this recipe card! I made sure to use inks that are permanent and won't run if the card gets damp - Versafine Vintage Sepia for the stamps, a Copic marker (E31) for the coloring, and a Copic Multiliner for the writing. I did use the computer to generate the "brownie cookies" part, I've no idea if that is waterproof or not ... probably not. :)
The list of ingredients is on the front, the recipe itself on the reverse side.
So this begs the question, do you have an organized recipe system or a haphazard box like me?
