Coordinated Thank You cards for Brett's 11th birthday party that we had on Saturday. We took Brett and a few friends to the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center for an afternoon of fun before returning home for birthday brownies, goofing off, and celebrating. Cards use the same materials as the invites I made (down a couple posts) but use a slightly different layout.
Tomorrow is Brett's actual 11th birthday, so tonight we will flood his floor with balloons while he sleeps. I started this tradition when Kyle, my oldest was 3, and continue it until they move out of the house. It's a fun way to wake up on your birthday!

And not related to Brett's birthday, but this is the
last of this season's roses. Jay pruned them back
for the *winter* that we have around here. We'll see them again in early spring.

The balloon idea is sooo cool! I bet they just giggle with delight when they wake up (no matter the age!)
