Happy Sweet 16~

Here's the birthday book I made for Morgan today.
It will be her "card" from us and after her birthday it will become a memory book when we add pictures.
It is a morphed Flip Flop Scrapbook from a tutorial on the Scor-Pal website.
I made a number of changes, creating pockets, scalloping the center panels, and the cover and back panel are patterned paper covered chipboard to give it extra strength.

Gift card wallets are inserted into the side pockets. After the gift cards are removed and spent, we will place photos and journaling inside. The large empty panel on the last photo will have a picture of her from her birthday. We will sign the center panel thus the reason for all the white space around the greeting area.

Finished book is 6" x 6"

I can't wait to give it to her on Saturday, her 16th birthday!

Val, I'd say your mojo is back exactly where it belongs! Your last entries, the 2 birthday "cards", are just stunning. Happy birthday to your kids. My daughter celebrates her 9th birthday on Tuesday, & her card is made! Now I just have to bake & decorate her cake!
