Prepare to be emotional, at least I was. I was left wondering how
famous she would have been had her life taken a different
direction earlier in her life.

Val, thank you for sharing that. I don't watch Idol, and without you pointing her way, I likely would have missed this. Amazing lesson there.

Hope you're doing well, my friend!

Val: thank you so much for sharing that with the rest of us. I love Le Mis and you are soooo very right...this lady would have been famous and rich had she had the opportunities earlier in life to showcase her talent. I am just bowled over! I hope we see much more of Susan Boyle!

OMG! Val, two people sent me this today, isn't that inspiring? I often wonder about my Granny (who just turned 90) if she had of been born in a different time, she never had a "job" that I can remember outside of the home, but raised her kids, and me and my sister. She is smart as a whip, knows math, and all sorts of things that to me are hard, you should see her do scrabbles, word things..geesh!...and well I just often wonder. So when you said that about this beautiful singer, one does wonder...what if?
Thanks for sharing it and thanks for sharing all your creative genius...what if you never picked up a stamp? Sending big hugs, Di

Val, I agree wholeheartedly about this lady's gorgeous voice. We watched this on tv tonight while out for dinner. The diners at the table next to us were commenting about how well she had done and my comment was *never judge a book by its cover." Thank you for sharing so we could hear her again.
