Tennis Anyone?

Altered tennis ball can that will house the sports store gift card for my nephew's 17th birthday.

  • Stamps: SU! Just Tennis, Celebrate Today
  • Ink: Tsukineko Versafine Onyx Black, Tsukineko Memento Dandelion, SU! Wild Wasabi
  • Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Yo Yo Yellow
  • Patterned Paper: Whoops, after making the wrap, I shredded the rest with some paper scraps to add to the inside of the can. I forgot to write it down.
  • Other: Empty tennis ball can (Riley was eying those brand new tennis balls!!) , Crop A Dile, Jumbo eyelets, Cording, Red and Black Grosgrain, Black hemp, Distressing tool

This is a really cool project! The community house down the road from me teaches tennis every summer and all the kids in the neighborhood attend. I would love to make them something like this at the end of the season. There is usually a pot luck dinner or year end ceremony. Thanks for the inspiration!

What a great ensemble, Val! I had to look at your supply list to see where that great patterned paper came from and realized that you'd stamped it--great to get back to stamping and this looks great!
