Each month there is a sketch challenge on the Our Craft Lounge site, you can find it here:
September Sketch Challenge - OCL 06
I played this morning using the fence image from the Autumn Garden Set.
Here is an upclose shot of the fence line, I used a bit of Blue-Berry Sparkly Fluff on the flowers. I didn't cover them completely, just a smidgen randomly added, this way a bit of the coloring shows as well. You'll notice that the fence is colored rather loosely; I wasn't concerned with blending the colors out, it's okay to do that!
A Textile Cuttlebugged panel and a piece of 7gypsies patterned paper create the two layers from the sketch. A bit of purple stitched ribbon to coordinate with the purple flowers, purple mat, and a hint of purple in the patterned paper complete the card. I chose to leave it sentiment less for two reasons, one, I am not sure of its intended purpose, yet, and I'm thinking it might take away from the balance of the card.
If you play along, be sure to post in the OCL forum. The winning card/project gets a prize!

Val, this card just made me want to sit on a porch with some tea and a book. Or maybe visit with a friend on the porch. I just love the look of it. Calming and pleasant. I needed that.
Really cute!! Thanks for sharing.
So pretty!
