It's Finally Friday and an OCL Blog Candy Offering~

Granny's Truffles is the set I've been sneak sneak peeking the last couple of days.
Granny's dress is colored with Copic markers to match the patterned paper. After coloring, she's cut out and attached to the die cut circle with dimensional foam. There's a bit of Glossy Accents on her pearl necklace and bracelets, and Sparkly Fluff adorns her hair and slippers.

Stamps: OCL's Granny's Truffles and Hearts & Hugs
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Onyx Black
Paper: Rocket Red and Black Onyx by Gina K Designs, Solar White by Neenah, Lavender Lace by SU!
Patterned paper: Dancing Girl by Fancy Pants
Copic Markers: C1, N1, N3, E00, E01, E25, E33, RV000, R81, BV04, B41, R29, Yoo
Other: Nestabilities Circle Dies, Red Buttons, Black wax thread, Scallop border punch, Square punch (banner ends on purple) Glossy Accents, Silver Gel pen (inside candy box, ribbon, and a dab on her glasses), Quickie Glue pen
Sparkly Fluff Platinum on her hair and Sparkly Fluff Cotton Candy on her fuzzy pink slippers.

Mmmmm, patterned paper wrapped Hershey bars with a "scrapling" tag attached. What Valentine wouldn't love this waiting for them?!

Love these Val! I just adore Granny!

I'm not eligible to win, but you still brought a flood of memories back about *Granny*...we called her that but she wasn't grandma. Always kept pillow mints in a jar on her table and I'd pick all the pink ones out! LOL! She had a wooden shoe from Holland that I would clunk around in! Thanks for the smiles!

Cute samples! My favorite memory of my grandma...she used to keep magnets on her fringe way down low so we could play with them when we came over. A silly little thing but I always remember sitting on the kitchen floor while she was cooking playing with those magnets. :)

It is the perfect time of year for this. My granny always reads to us the story of Santa and the Mouse. At the end of the story she had the stocking with the hole in it and then she had little goodies made into mice for each of us to eat. What a fun tradition. I am excited for it again this year.

You make everything look good - not that a chocolate themed set needs a lot of help ... Great creations.

Oops, by the time I looked at the pictures, I forgot the rules ...
Grambo was a wonderful lady. As much as I adored her as a child, I really grew to appreciate her as I got older. She was a delightful partner for a cold beer, many of her road directions included stops along the way (good for nice cold beer, or, don't waste your time, they need to clean their pipes). I miss her regularly, but I truly believe Tommy is her gift to me.

My sweet memory of one of my grandmothers is of a figurine she had of a mother bird standing on the edge of a nest that contained a baby bird. Whenever I would visit I would run over to that figurine and find some sort of candy egg, jellybean etc. hidden just for me behind the baby bird. I have that figurine in my china cabinet and treasure it and the memories that go with it of how excited and special I felt.

Love the chocolate theme! My favorite memory of my Grandma was at her 80th Birthday when she saw the 4 ft x 8 ft cake I made her. She said she was glad everyone was there to help her eat it! Over 150 family members gathered that day for a huge picnic.

Valerie, I love the Granny sets as I'm a granny myself to seven. As for remembering my Grandma I was five when I lost my Grandma and since that was 58 years ago I don't remember anything but my Mom's mom was gone before I was born so I never had a Granny but I sure am trying to be a good one for my Grandkids.
God Bless,

My Grandma always had a full candy jar on her buffet when I was growing up. Now I have the candy jar!! She also had a fridge full of small bottles of pop. After lunch she'd let us have our OWN bottle! It was so cool!!
