Giggle Thanks~

I've a few CHA thank yous to get in the mail today, so I quickly made these cards yesterday (when I should have been doing laundry and other things! LOL) Simply stamped and paper pieced, not much info is required here.

Stamps are from Unity Stamp Company, , Cardstock is Classic Crest Natural White by Neenah Paper, Patterned Paper is from the Blossoms and Butterfly Stack by Die Cuts with a View, Ink is Versafine Vintage Sepia by Tsukineko, Ribbon from May Arts, Scor Tape holds the ribbon in place, Circle punch, and a few dimensional foam dots elevate the bird and 3 of the circles on the tree.

Have a fantastic Friday!

Scor-Pal Gals and eP friends!

CHA was so much fun again! This is a pic of the Scor-Pal Gals! Michelle Fischer came along this time to help out - we were so happy to have her with us. Of course, the sweet and fabulous Diana Crick, creator of the Scor-Pal is in the center. She and Roy are wonderful people and I just love being able to demonstrate their fabulous invention at the shows. Their son, Brandon and his wife, Jaylene, welcomed a brand new baby girl just before the show and were unable to come as they did last year. Roy and Diana are very proud grandparents!

I met up with many old friends, met a few new faces, and had such a wonderful time! Unfortunately, my camera seemed to have forgotten its job and I only have 2 pictures to share.
The above Scor-Pal gals, Michelle and Diana, and below, Bethie, Daisy, Lisa, Joyce, Joy, Cami and Jenn.

I've so much to catch up on around here. I'm glad to be back home and my family was happy to see me. Morgan was very sick after I left and Jay had to do the "mom" thing while I was gone. Let's just say he appreciates the little things a bit more now. :) Morgan was glad to have dad take care of her, but hugged me tightly when I came home and said that he "wasn't mom." And Brett was so excited when it was me picking up him yesterday afternoon from his friends house, instead of Jay, who he was expecting. It was back to the routine this morning and now Riley is whining at me, missing her morning walks while I was away, so I best leash her up and head out the door!

Oh Momma, Bee Mine~

I haven't played in the Featured Stamper Challenge over at SCS for a long time. Today, I checked the forum....it was my good friend, Lori Craig's turn to be highlighted - how could I not play? If you've every had the privilege of spending time with Lori, you will agree she is one of the most delightful peeps around. I can't wait to see her at CHA next weekend!

Those who are new here, or are not aware of the FS Challenge, Bethie posts a new gallery each week and the object is to select a card from the featured stamper's gallery and tweak at least 2 things. Sometimes it's just a couple things that get tweaked, other times a whole new direction evolves. I selected this card by Lori: Yummy Stuff and made a few changes:
-colors and papers
-stamp set
-brad placement
-omitted the ribbon *gasp* did I just say that?
-omitted the sewing (did you see all her sewing, yipes!)

Monster Thanks......

Coordinated Thank You cards for Brett's 11th birthday party that we had on Saturday. We took Brett and a few friends to the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center for an afternoon of fun before returning home for birthday brownies, goofing off, and celebrating. Cards use the same materials as the invites I made (down a couple posts) but use a slightly different layout.

Tomorrow is Brett's actual 11th birthday, so tonight we will flood his floor with balloons while he sleeps. I started this tradition when Kyle, my oldest was 3, and continue it until they move out of the house. It's a fun way to wake up on your birthday!

Card details:
Stamps: Little Boy, Tag You're It, and Making the Grade (Kim Hughes) for Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia by Tsukineko, Aqua Adirondack by Ranger
Paper: Classic Crest Natural White by Neenah Paper, Tango Tangerine by SU!
Patterned Paper: Nightlight Collection by October Afternoon
Other: Mini brads, Oval Nestabilities Die (cut in half)

And not related to Brett's birthday, but this is the
last of this season's roses. Jay pruned them back
for the *winter* that we have around here. We'll see them again in early spring.

My kiddos and other tidbits~

A rare treat to get them all together and smiling!
My oldest, Kyle (23), Brett (11 next week) and Morgan (15)

The tidbits.....I was offered and accepted a position at CHF where I will be working at creating samples for retailers nationwide. Since this entails lots and lots of mass producing, new releases will be left up to the other gals on the team, so for sneak peeks, you can check out the blogs in the CHF list on the sidebar.

The rest of this month is busy with birthday parties, high school soccer, school volunteering, playoff games, and CHA at the end of the month. I'll be going with Diana and Roy from Scor-Pal once again! So, you might not see me all that much over the next couple weeks, if I get a creative burst somewhere in there, I'll post!

Take care!

Hey Dude, Let's Party!~

These are the invites for Brett's 11th Birthday Party~

Not too much stamping going on here: "Hey Dude"(Little Guy set) and "Let's Party" (Birthday Bash set) are from Kim Hughes. The "For, Date, etc." are from Mona Lisa Moments Invitation Essentials. CHF carries them, I'm sure you know that! :) The rest is patterned paper from the Nightlight collection by October Afternoon. I *almost* bought the matching stamp set when I purchased the paper and decided that cutting out the monsters would be a bit more cost effective. Layout is the same as the previous post with a standard A2 size instead of being smaller. Not sure how much longer it will be cool for mom to make his invitations, but for now, he smiled his big, beautiful smile when he saw these!

Here's the inside of the invitation.
The remaining card supplies are:
Classic Crest Natural White by Neenah Paper
Tango Tangerine by SU!
Versafine Onyx Black ink by Tsukineko
Black mini brads
Dimensional foam
