Merry, Merry!

We decorated early this year on December 1st, much earlier than I usually set things out.  I tend to get tired of the clutter around the house, even though things are cute and sparkly.

This is my newest Anna Wight ornament for this year.
He now sits with the candy canes and star from previous years.  I think of her every time I hang them on the tree.

Jay added to my Swarovski snowflake collection this year again, they are so pretty and reflective on the tree!

Much requested peanut butter blossom cookies.  I caved and baked this year ( in the past I have crossed baking off my list), but these delicious morsels of chocolate, peanutty goodness are so good!

And finally the annual boxes I make each year filled with delicious morsels of Fantasy Fudge to hand out to friends and family.

For the fudge boxes, I used Echo Park's holiday papers from last year, an EK tree punch, WPlus9's heart die and a couple of Nestabilities Circle and Scallop Circle dies.  A Paper Smooches banner salutation adds a little cheery greeting.  Finished box made on my Scor-Pal is 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 1-1/2" and is lined with wax paper to fit 9 snuggled pieces of fudge.

I wish all of you a very Happy Holiday and Healthy, Safe New Year!

January 2013 is the start of many great things!

See you in the New Year!

xo,
Valerie

I love those fudge boxes! Why didn't I think of that?! They are just as cute as can be, and I know that when you mass produce 10 or 12 of something like that they can be done super quickly. Next year. . . . Merry Christmas from Steinbeck country!
