Poppies!

I rarely get so tempted by a stamp company that I hit submit the day it becomes available.
But when several of my friends on the My Favorite Things Design Team began showing this set by Lisa Johnson, who is another friend of mine, I knew it and the coordinated dies were coming to live here.

They've been sitting for a few days waiting to be inked while I finished up with robotics things, swim meets, etc. Today I finally was able to ink them up in anticipation of my sister-in-law's upcoming birthday.

Poppies come in many colors and varieties.  I inked these up to look like our state flower, the California Poppy (although the stamped ones are a bit darker than the real life ones), which are just starting to bloom all over now that spring is here.

There are many seed packet templates around the internet, I just selected one of them and modified it for use on the Scor-Pal.  It's the perfect size to slip a gift card that she has on her list into, and the seed packet theme fits her lifestyle as a landscape architect.
